FAQ
What is a body scan?
It’s a meditation where you slowly bring awareness to each part of your body — from head to toe, or vice versa.
What is somatic meditation?
A body-centered approach that emphasizes felt experience — tension, warmth, heaviness, vibration — as the object of attention.
Can this help with anxiety or trauma?
Yes, but go slowly. Somatic practices can surface strong sensations — always stay within your window of tolerance.
What if I feel nothing?
That’s okay. Numbness is information too. Stay gentle, curious, and patient with your awareness.
Do I need to lie down for a body scan?
You can lie down or sit — choose what supports your body best for full presence without sleepiness.
